Career Notes:

Davila was a Division I All-American in cross country and track at Arizona State University and was the runner up in the 10,000m at the 2003 Pac-10 Championships. In 2006 Davila joined the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project in Michigan. She

has since won two 10K road races (35:40 in Detroit, MI, and 34:13 in Mobile, AL), finished 13th at the 20K national championships, and represented the U.S. in two international competitions. Davila ran for the U.S. teams at the Chiba Ekiden Relay in Japan and the World Road Running Championships in Hungary, where she finished the 20K race in 1:11:56. In January she set a new personal best at the Walt Disney World Half Marathon in 1:18:53, placing third. The 2007 Boston Marathon was her debut at the distance, and she posted a Trials qualifying time of 2:44:56 while placing 19th overall.

 
Personal Notes:

Davila attended Hilltop High School in Chula Vista, CA, where she was on the track, cross country and soccer teams. She received her bachelor’s of arts degree in psychology at Arizona State University in 2005. She is coached by Keith and Kevin Hanson and is a member of the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project in Rochester Hills, MI.
